About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Charge experience, patient ratio experience, familiarity with specific charting systems

Description :

Responsibilities include performing a variety of nursing tasks in the Cath Lab.

Must provide expert care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Experience with 12 lead EKG interpretation and activated clotting time monitoring is required.

Must assist with central line insertion and management, ensuring patient safety.

Knowledge of blood product administration and cardiac stent placement is essential.

Experience with emergency medications and cardioversion is necessary.

Should be proficient in monitoring procedural sedation and managing dysrhythmias.

Experience with interventional cardiac catheterization is required.

Must demonstrate competency in infection prevention and isolation precautions.

Skills in IV infusion pumps, vasopressors, and hemostasis techniques are essential.

Experience with vascular closure systems and transesophageal echocardiography is required.

Demonstrated ability to provide patient care and support throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases.

Flexibility to work on call every other week is necessary.
