Expected pay for this position is $60.39 - $68.10 / hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

The Children’s Hospital of Illinois Pediatric Otolaryngology is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team.

Job Specifics :

  • Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner  or Physician Assistant to fulfill the Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric ENT opportunity at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois located in Peoria, Illinois
  • Close collaboration with our Pediatric Otolaryngologists and PA’s within the hospital, clinic and OR settings.
  • Travel to CHOI outreach clinics and participation in multidisciplinary clinics will be required
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in ENT or a willingness to learn the subspecialty.
  • No evening call
  • No weekends

  • Clinical base hourly pay range for this position : $60.39-$68.10.

Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

    • POSITION SUMMARY : According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

    The candidate must maintain state license as an APN / PA in the state of Illinois and professional certifications (APLS, ENPC, or PALS). Certification as an acute care specialty nurse practitioner or physician assistant through a nationally recognized certifying body is required.  For APN’s, surgical assist certification will be required after completion of training program.
