Video Quality Specialist – Job Details

Location : On-site in North East Austin, TX
Employment type : W-2 contract (eligible for benefits based on hours worked)
Contract duration : 12-month contract with possible extension
Working schedule : Full-time (40 hours per week) with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Schedule : Shifts with at least one weekend day; Sunday-Thursday 10 : 00 am–7 : 00 pm or Tuesday-Saturday 10 : 00 am–7 : 00 pm
Hourly rate : $27

Successful candidates must have valid work authorization for the US with no need for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Review and troubleshoot video content for TV shows and movies for a major multimedia streaming platform to ensure content is free of errors.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience working with digital video

Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry

Strong knowledge of common technical issues in digital video and audio

Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and changing environment

Strong initiative, troubleshooting skills, and ability to identify trends for short- and long-term solutions

Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Experience with subscription video content services and familiarity with their product offerings

Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills

Bilingual : native speaker in target language with excellent English proficiency

Following eligibility requirements : FSA and HSA.
