What You'll Do

As a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager, youll manage an assigned book of business, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and guidance. Your focus will be on client retention, policy servicing, and maintaining strong relationships while collaborating with your teammates to support agency goals.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service and Retention

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, text, online chat, and portal.
  • Build strong relationships through active listening and personalized solutions.
  • Assist clients with claims, billing inquiries, endorsements, and policy updates.
  • Implement proactive strategies for renewals, coverage updates, and client satisfaction.
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in the agency management system.

Policy Servicing and Compliance

  • Process endorsements, cancellations, claims, and policy updates accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure agency-billed policies are transacted and payments are collected on time.
  • Monitor accounts for changes in coverage needs or rate adjustments.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policies and carrier requirements.

    • Team Collaboration and Agency Support

  • Work closely with teammates and support office operations as needed.
  • Participate in professional development and stay current on industry trends.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance client experience.

    • What We're Looking For

  • 35 years of commercial insurance agency experience
  • Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license required
  • Experience with Applied EPIC is a plus, but not required
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative team player
