Administrative Specialist
Our client, a government agency dedicated to supporting land development and construction processes, is seeking an Administrative Specialist to join their team. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be part of the Permitting Department supporting the Building Permitting team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and exceptional customer service abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location : Tampa, FL
Pay Range : $17
Shift : 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Perform technical and clerical duties in receiving, reviewing, and processing applications for building permits.
Organize meetings, receive site and sub-applications, and review them for completeness using checklists.
Distribute applications to reviewers such as engineers and other professionals.
Communicate with clients regarding payments and additional documentation requirements.
Support other administrative functions related to land development and construction permits.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to permit processing procedures and land development terminology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
Proficiency with computers and related software.
Ability to work effectively with others and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
