At Brown Insurance, we need someone who can not only handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks but also take ownership of investigating and resolving financial questions across multiple systems.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys researching, connecting dots, and delivering answers that make life easier for leadership and the team.   Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
• Track, process, and reconcile client payments across carriers, finance companies, and our agency management system (EPIC).
• Submit payroll and ensure commission payouts are properly allocated to producers and staff.
• Work with management and remote bookkeeping support to align financial records.
• Provide accurate reports for our CPA, converting data outputs into QuickBooks.
• Research and resolve financial discrepancies independently, presenting solutions rather than problems.

Handle incoming checks, invoices, and other financial documents that require in-office attention.   Requirements :
