Medical Assistant II
The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient centered Medical Assistant II (MA II) to work at our UICC Scott Blvd Clinics. This position will mainly support our Family Medicine Clinics but could float to other patient specialties / clinic locations including but not limited to : Pediatrics and / or Specialty / Outreach Clinics.

Summary : Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM / ANM (nurse manager / assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in the urgent care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.

Percent of Time : 50% (20 hours per week)
Schedule : Monday - Thursday from 3 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 PM. No weekends, on-call time, or holiday shifts required.
Location : Iowa City, IA. (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)
Pay Grade : 9
Salary : $40,903.92 - $60,760.80 at 100% time. Hourly : $19.59 - $29.10 (based on years of experience)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements :
Special Qualification / License : Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards. Demonstrated excellent written / verbal communication.
