In the role as the Event Programmer , you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus.

The Event Programmer will be responsible for the creation, building, coordination and management of live events and associated ancillary events. Additional responsibilities include management of event day staff, order fulfillment and customer relations.
What you’ll do :
- Submit event builds using Ticketmaster tools (TMOne, Reports, Scaling, Publish, EMT, Pricemaster, Host, Archtics, etc.).
- Monitor TM show build, including all presales and special offers (VIP Packages, Ticket Exchange)
- Ensure accurate and complete builds, including pricing and financials.
- Execute dynamic price changes or other event adjustments in a timely fashion
- Place all holds & actively manage inventory
- Act as liaison between promoter / TM and building / TM
- Ensure accurate CAD and ISM creation for events
- Work with United Center staff on getting info out to the building
- Monitor all presales and on-sales including internal CLUB Member presale
- Fill ticket orders from the Promoter in a timely fashion
- Troubleshoot night of event issues and be available to Promoter and show staff
- Physically check production and show configurations on event days to ensure a positive customer experience. This includes but is not limited to floor seats, production kills & sightlines.
- Peer review other event creations to prevent errors and ensure accuracy
- Create any secondary events related to show build.
- Produce sample scaling for prospective events
- Obtain written approval for relevant event elements from appropriate parties
- Ensure all information is complete and current on TM and TMOne
- Run reports and audits for building and promoter .
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
What you’ll need :
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or 2+ years of related Box Office / ticketing experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with Archtics is preferred.Proficiency in Ticketmaster platforms and reporting tools.Ability to execute timely updates to event builds and pricing.Skilled in producing scaling maps and running ticketing reports (audits, consignment, etc.).Competence in troubleshooting ticketing issues in real-time, especially during events.Strong understanding of event ticketing operations, including show builds, scaling, and dynamic pricing.Experience managing ticket inventory, holds, and internal presales.Familiarity with VIP packages, Ticket Exchange, and secondary event creation.Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.The pay range for this role is $64,000-68,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits.
