    • Works with building-level and central office administrative staff to interpret the media program and to identify services and requirements.

    • Creates asynchronous opportunities for professional development and continual communication using learning management systems and telecommunication software.
    • Approves campus-created purchase orders for library purchases upon the approval of the campus administrator.

    • Monitors and reviews formal reconsideration requests made at the campus-level.
    • Compiles cost estimates used in the budgeting process and administers the library media budget, ensuring that the program is cost-effective and funds are managed prudently.

      Position Purpose

      Oversees evaluation, coordination, initiation, and administration of a strategic library media services vision that ensures an integrated plan of action supporting the district’s core values and culture. Responsible for directing and administrating library programs and services across the district and modeling the campus librarians’ role in digital and media literacy, digital citizenship, and technology integration.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

      Program Management
