Public Relations Vice President – Technology PR

LOCATION : The Public Relations Associate VP - Technology PR is part of our FINN Partners NY, NY HQ’s Technology Public Relations team.  This is a full-time, direct hire, remote work role, with requirement of monthly in-person business trips to our NY, NY office (team meetings, client meetings, PR events etc.).  This job is a match for qualified current USA residents (preference is for qualified applicants residing in Boston, NY or Atlanta).

Our PR TECH team at Finn Partners is one of the best in the industry.  We seek a technology public relations executive with 8 years of prior related work history (tech PR agency based public relations), who is passionate about communications, ready to roll up their sleeves, manage and grow client campaigns, and contribute to the success of the team.  This is an opportunity to oversee planning and execution of PR client programs, as well as grow new business.  You will join one of the leading technology PR agency teams working with national and international technology B2B and technology B2C clients.  This position will also pursue, develop, and lead new business presentations, manage and cultivate staff members, and help set the tone for how the business is managed.

Responsibilities :

• Identify new client relationship opportunities for our public relations TECH practice.  Assist the Partner of the TECH practice in activities to pitch and win new client business.
• Develop and grow new senior level client relationships.
• Nurture and sustain existing client relationships and seek out opportunities to expand scope of business with our clients.
• Develop complete communications plans for clients.
• Provide counsel, strategy, and direction for accounts.
• Leverage existing relationships and create new relationships across technology trade and business media, to drive coverage on behalf of clients.
• Productively provide ideas to clients to maximize communications results and / or anticipate issues.
• Manage and professionally develop our public relations technology practice’s account staff members.

Salary range is $110,000 - $140,000. The salary offered will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience and dependent upon the workplace.
