As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the assigned area. Your role involves monitoring the premises, assisting visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the grounds in a vehicle as needed. Pay Rate : $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues within the government facility.
  • Assist visitors and employees as needed, providing information and directions when requested.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and / or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and applicants must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Driving is primarily required for this post and is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
