JOB OVERVIEW Job Title : OB / GYN Physician Job Type : Locum Tenens Location : Saranac Lake, NY Service Setting : Hospital & Clinic Coverage Type : Clinical On-Call Coverage Period : April 1, 2025 May 31, 2025 Clinical Schedule : 5 days a week in the Women s Health Office Call Schedule : 10 on-call days per month PATIENT INFORMATION Deliveries per Month : Approximately 18 On-Call Cases : Difficult deliveries, C-sections,Postpartum emergencies, such as hemorrhage,Management of ectopics, vulvar abscesses, and miscarriages FACILITY INFORMATION Specialty Backup : First call supported by midwives for deliveries JOB REQUIREMENTS Board Certification : Required (Board Certified in OB / GYN) Active NY License DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive women s health services in a clinical setting (5 days / week) Be available for difficult deliveries and c-sections Provide ED call coverage for postpartum and obstetrical emergencies Collaborate with midwives and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
