About The Position

Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Adult & NICU

Location : Pomona, NJ

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (18 : 00 – 06 : 00), Every 3rd Weekend

Job Responsibilities :

Provide respiratory care for adult and neonatal patients in critical care and general units

Administer respiratory medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Pulmicort, and others

Manage and troubleshoot ventilators (BiPAP, CPAP, High Frequency Oscillator, Servo I / U, Trilogy, V60, Vapotherm)

Assist with neonatal procedures (e.g., bubble CPAP, intubation assist, umbilical blood gases, oscillating ventilation)

Perform oxygen therapy, airway management, and pulmonary hygiene

Document care and interventions using Cerner charting system

Float between campuses as required

Required Skills & Experience :

Active New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT accepted)

Minimum 5 years of experience, including NICU experience (required)

Previous charge experience (required)

Experience with trauma level II care

Ability to manage patient ratios of 1 : 20-25

Cerner charting experience (required)

Experience in Adult Critical Care, NICU, and Emergency Department settings

Strong knowledge of ventilator management, ABG interpretation, airway devices, and respiratory medication delivery
