Box Office And Marketing Administrative Support
Provide administrative support for the manager of box office and marketing; assist with event ticketing, reservations, logistics, and patron services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Build performance event information in Cougar Connect and in ticket portal
- Build online volunteer usher signup spots for performance events; send link to faculty directors
- Organize and prepare Box Office supplies for performance events (reserved seat signs, lanyards for student ushers, flashlights, no food / drink signs, direction signs, etc.)
- Assist at Fine Arts performance events (work with student ushers, greet patrons, hand out programs, seat patrons)
- Assist with cash and credit transactions; balance and reconcile for each performance
- Ensure that ticket reservations, exchanges, refunds, and house counts are accurately documented
- Coordinate with performance directors, house or stage managers before, during and after events to ensure event runs smoothly and successfully for performers, patrons, and instructors
- Assist with scheduling Box Office student assistants' work shifts at lobby desk and for ushering at performance events
- Assist with responding to Box Office voicemail and email messages in a timely manner
- Maintain division bulletin boards for Fine Arts events ensure that posted materials are accurate and current; change board borders each semester
- Assist with designing, printing, and posting Fine Arts marketing materials and signs
- Assist with updating and maintaining notices, brochures, training guides, and other documents, including contact data provided by Fine Arts programs for outreach / promotion of their events to area schools and individuals; send email messages as requested.
- Inventory supplies needed for Fine Arts receptions as assigned
- Assist with Box Office presence at campus fairs to promote Fine Arts events and course offerings

Associate degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of administrative office experience.
Preferred : Experience in the visual or performing arts. Equivalency Language : High school / GED and 4 years of administrative office experience.
