The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and clinical care. With over 40 faculty members across various subspecialties, including two other Glaucoma Ophthalmologists, we are dedicated to advancing knowledge in ophthalmology through both basic scientific and clinical research.
Under the leadership of Dr. Silvia Orengo-Nania , our department is expanding and innovating in teaching, research, and eye care excellence. Join us in this exciting journey!

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary structure, with a total salary range of $325,000 - $492,450 , based on experience and qualifications. Your compensation will be aligned with your clinical effort through M Physicians, while the academic salary will reflect your academic contributions.
