Compensation :

Pay will be based on experience, and a skills test will be administered during the interview process.

$2,600 sign-on bonus

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist with programming experience to set up, operate, and program a variety of CNC machines for the production of precision metal components. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical principles, G-code programming, machining techniques, and shop math to ensure efficient, accurate part production per engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code, CAD / CAM experience ) for precision and efficiency

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production instructions

Measure and inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications

Diagnose and resolve machining and programming issues to maintain quality and minimize downtime

Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Key Skills & Competencies :

Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code / M-code)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Strong understanding of machining processes and sequence logic

Solid skills in shop math, including :

Fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions

Basic algebra, geometry, and introductory trigonometry

Experience with big bore

Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machining tools and techniques

Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex or non-standard situations

Requirements :

Hands-on experience in CNC machining or programming, or equivalent technical training

Experience with CNC mills and / or lathes preferred
