Role Snapshot

As a Senior Power Systems Test Engineering Technologist, you will be central to how our power control and power conversion products prove their reliability in the lab before they serve at sea. You’ll translate engineering intent into rigorous test strategies, then bring those strategies to life.

  • Create and maintain process documentation such as bills of materials and route sheets to keep execution precise and repeatable.
  • Study project instructions and engineering drawings to determine test requirements, equipment needs, objectives, and potential solutions—and to support design-for-manufacture considerations.
  • Set up and execute tests on units and subcomponents, capturing both numerical and graphical data.
  • Analyze results against test objectives; adjust setups and equipment to bring outcomes into specification.
  • Document procedures, results, and improvement recommendations to refine products and methods.
  • Coach and mentor junior technicians, elevating team capability.

What you bring

  • Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the defense industry.
  • Solid hands-on expertise testing electrical and mechanical components.
