Domestic Relations Attorney

The Law Office of Dmitriy Borshchak is a growing, midsize law firm specializing in all manner of domestic relations cases throughout the State of Ohio. The firm is seeking to add an attorney to expand its capacity and continue providing high-quality legal services to Ohioans facing a variety of domestic relations cases.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to assist with the firm's growing caseload. The attorney will also assist with and, in cases that have been delegated to them, manage all stages of litigation. Specifically, the attorney will be responsible for drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, attending and preparing for all court hearings, and representing clients throughout settlement negotiations and during trial.

A qualified candidate will have an understanding of household and business finances, a firm grasp of conducting legal research, and significant experience with drafting various pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. The candidate should have at least two (2) years of experience in the domestic relations field as a practicing attorney, though exceptions would be made for a candidate with a demonstrated interest in family law. The candidate will also have a high social IQ and must be able to handle highly emotional situations with not only compassion, but also the highest standards of professionalism. Ideally, the candidate will have courtroom experience, a demonstrated ability to manage their own caseload, and superior writing skills.

Pay : $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
