Site Reliability Engineer
Location : San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
W2 Candidates Only.
Responsibilities
- Work with development and DevOps teams to create and implement STAR's Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) pipeline.
- Collaborate with National IT to create and implement tooling required for Continuous Delivery.
- Ensure systems and tooling are future-proof and can accommodate growth and continuously changing requirements.
- Participate in design and planning sessions to ensure changes to tooling or services are accounted for.
- Design and implement process improvements.
- Coach and mentor others on Platform Engineering and DevOps best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or related field, or equivalent work experience.7+ years of industry experience building and supporting enterprise-level systems as a platform engineer or equivalent in a production environment.5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing, supporting, and using DevOps tools and services.Experience with Linux (RHEL), application services (WebSphere, Tomcat, Spring Boot), source code control systems (Subversion, Git), build systems (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI), static analysis tools (SonarQube, Fortify), containerization tools (Docker, Podman), orchestration and environment management tools (Puppet, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform), monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog), programming or scripting languages (Java, C++, C#, Python, Bash), automated testing tools (Selenium, TestComplete).3+ years hands‑on experience with AWS services – building, deploying, and monitoring using AWS CodePipeline, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS X‑Ray.Thorough understanding of APIs, gateways, orchestrators, databases, networking, monitoring, configuration management and security best practices for a production environment.Contact
