Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Lead

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Lead in North Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining approachable and visible to guests and staff. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to various situations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate : $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 05 : 30 PM - 01 : 30 AM

Wed 05 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Thur 05 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Sun 05 : 30 PM - 01 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail or mall environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members, site management, and local authorities as required.
  • Assist with crowd control and access management during peak hours or special events at the location.
  • Maintain accurate written logs and incident reports according to company and site-specific requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possession of a valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
