Base pay range is $48,371.00 / yr - $117,034.00 / yr. A recruitment incentive of $40,000 may be eligible in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Duties :
Special agents carry out assignments in investigations and protection, and may be assigned to multiple duty stations. Duties include :
- Providing protection for various protectees.
- Conducting criminal investigations.
- Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.
Requirements :
U.S. citizenship is required.Possess a current valid driver's license.Carry and use a firearm, and maintain firearm proficiency.Be at least age 21 and less than age 37 at the time of application.Obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20 / 100 binocular.Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in either ear.Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing.Complete 13 weeks of intensive training and 18 weeks of specialized training.Sign a mobility agreement stating willingness to accept assignments anywhere.Certify registration with the Selective Service System or exemption.The U.S. Secret Service is an equal opportunity employer.
