Database Engineer

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable and secure cloud database solutions, including data models and schema designs

Provision and configure cloud database instances, ensuring data integrity during migrations and upgrades

Monitor database performance and implement strategies for optimization, security, and disaster recovery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline

5 years of relevant experience; degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Experience with cloud database technologies such as Amazon RDS and Azure SQL

Knowledge of compliance with data protection regulations
