Billing & Data Management Manager
Pridestaff Financial is seeking a highly detailed and experienced Billing & Data Management Manager to join a client's dynamic team in a hybrid role. This critical position is the linchpin for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data that directly supports client's invoicing and payment processes. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a keen eye for detail, strong financial acumen, and a passion for process improvement.
Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership & Management :
- Oversee and manage a team of three Data Entry Specialists, providing direction, performance feedback, and coaching to ensure high-quality and consistent data entry.
- Set clear performance goals and manage the daily workflow of the remote team.
- Data Oversight & Accuracy :
- Manage and ensure the accurate, timely, and complete entry of large volumes of data into the company's accounting software. This data serves as the primary backup for all client invoices.
- Review, audit, and validate the data entered by the team to confirm its reliability before it is extracted by the invoicing department.
- Financial Reconciliation :
- Perform comprehensive data reconciliation to ensure that all services or items billed for are accurately accounted for and have corresponding payments or credit memos.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between billed and paid amounts, escalating issues as necessary.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency :
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks within the data management and credit memo processes.
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and speed.
- Manage and resolve issues related to missing data or incomplete items, tracing back the source and implementing controls to prevent future occurrences.
- Communication & Collaboration :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries from various departments, including finance, invoicing, and operations.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management and various personality types to explain data findings, propose solutions, and collaborate on process changes.
Required Qualifications :
Proven experience in a financial, accounting, or data management role, with a focus on data integrity, reconciliation, or accounts receivable / payable.Previous experience leading or managing a team.Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of accuracy.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.Demonstrated ability to analyze processes and implement practical, effective improvements.Position Details :
