American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric RN with pediatric specialty experience and active MO or compact and KS RN licenses.

Responsibilities

\n

  • Work in a pediatric unit caring for patients with endocrinology, pulmonology, neurology, and tracheostomy needs
  • Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, three shifts per week
  • Floating between facilities in Kansas City, MO and Overland Park, KS required
  • Patient population includes management of DKA / diabetes, cystic fibrosis, neurologic conditions, and tracheostomies
  • Medication and dosage exam required during first week with a 100% passing score needed (three attempts permitted)
  • Nicotine-free work environment and campus; testing for nicotine conducted
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate

    Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license and KS RN license required at time of consideration
  • Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required at time of consideration
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Experience with pediatrics patients in endocrinology, pulmonology, neurology, and tracheostomy care required
  • Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
  • Two supervisor-level professional references from the last 12 months required for consideration
