We create and publish a variety of technical communications products to support the cutting-edge digital signal processing and communications systems that Rincon designs and delivers to national intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense.

This is a full-time, in-office position.
A successful applicant will :
- Become a key member of the Business Development Operations center, supporting Federal Government market surveys, white papers, and proposals from bid decision through award.
- Be receptive to constructive criticism on writing, editing, and a variety of technical topics.
- Integrate into various teams to collaborate on software and engineering development projects to produce quality project documentation that meets aggressive schedules.
- Produce and maintain full suites of documentation products, including user guides, quick-start guides, training materials, hardware supplements, software and maintenance manuals, and test plan and procedure documentation.
- Work on technical briefings, technical reports, manuals, and marketing materials for high-performance electronic hardware.
- Be willing to grow into a personnel supervisory role.
Required :
Current TS / SCI security clearanceU.S. citizenshipBachelor’s Degree in Scientific & Technical Communication, Technical Writing, or related writing or technology-oriented disciplineProficiency in Microsoft Office productsProficiency in Windows environmentAbility to assimilate complex information quickly and translate it into appropriate products for the intended audienceExcellent writing fundamentals, including impeccable skills finding and fixing errors in grammar, punctuation, and sentence structureDesired :
Familiarity with SharePoint, GitLab, or similar configuration control and document management systemsFamiliarity with manipulating PDF files in Adobe Acrobat ProFamiliarity with graphics-development tools, such as Photoshop, Visio, Gimp, etc.Familiarity with Linux command line and environmentWhen applying online, please include a well-formatted cover letter, resume, and writing samples, or a link to a site where these artifacts are accessible.
