3rd Shift Material Handler / Forklift

Job Purpose : Please Note you will be working 2nd shift 2pm, to 10pm for training.

Use Forklift

• Perform cleaning / sanitation, product packaging, labeling, warehousing etc. duties as assigned
• Perform the Daily Cleaning Schedule, Daily Facilities Evaluation and Weekly Cleaning Schedule and complete paperwork.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, safety policies, and procedures
• Perform product packaging operations in accordance with SOP
• Operate forklift and complete paperwork for the following : tote production, organic sugar production, occasional deliveries and shipments
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Forklift Experience required and need to take forklift written test. (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES) PC skills required Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with peers and leadership required Must possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced industrial environment Demonstrated ability to arrive to work on time and work overtime as needed Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. repetitively. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; sit; climb or balance; scoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Must be able to work under hot or cool, wet and sometimes-dusty, and loud conditions, dust mask, coveralls and, or hearing protection may be required.
