Compliance Technician

The HT Group is seeking a  Contract Compliance Technician for a 4 to 6-month contract assignment based in Baytown, TX. Must be able to work on site -  NO PER DIEM and must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

The schedule will be Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, with a possible 7am start time (to be confirmed). The pay rate starts at $28+hr DOE. Overtime may be required or expected.

• NO PER DIEM
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide LPS / LPO feedback
• Review and update Job Safety Analyses (JSA) as needed
• Order and manage safety equipment and materials
• Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and approved chemical lists
• Report all safety incidents and conduct investigations, including RCA
• Conduct regular safety walks and quality reviews of safety procedures
• Assist and coach site safety personnel and enforce safety protocols
• Maintain safety records and documentation for compliance
• Attend and contribute to safety and stewardship meetings
• Participate in training and ensure adherence to safety policies
• Exhibit strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service
• Work independently to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time
• Previous experience working inside a plant environment
• Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) knowledge with a degree or trade school background preferred
• Active TWIC card required
• Must complete ISTC and DISA training prior to starting
