Schedule - 4 Day Work week

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during procedures, anticipating needs for smooth workflow
  • Take, develop, and mount high-quality X-rays and perform oral evaluations
  • Complete lab duties, including provisionals and case management
  • Review patient charts and document procedures accurately
  • Follow OSHA and practice safety protocols
  • Educate patients on procedures, products, and services, addressing questions and concerns
  • Verify patient health histories, medications, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Prepare and clean operatories according to office procedures, sterilizing equipment per OSHA guidelines
  • Assist in scheduling follow-ups and managing lab cases efficiently
  • Support front office tasks when needed to maintain seamless operations
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
  • EFDA credential preferred but not required
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate approach to patient care
  • Additional Requirements

  • CPR certification and any relevant dental assisting certifications are advantageous
