Job Requirements :

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements :

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• BLS (current upon hire)
• ACLS, PALS, and / or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Role and Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility and accountability for routine patient care, under the supervision of an RN, cleaning / stocking, transporting patients, and performs additional duties as requested, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and other duties as assigned. Greets patients that arrive at the ER with a smile and professional demeanor and performs QPI (quick registration) efficiently and accurately. Rounds on patients in the ER lobby and escalates patient needs to the RN. Demonstrates Service Excellence.
