Project Manager Responsibilities :
Conduct PM activities in the Life Sciences industry ensuring the project meets the demands of the clientUnderstand Lifecycle management for Quality Applications, processes for protocol development and executionDirect the internal project scope of work, budget, timeline, and change ordersDirect the planning and execution of medium to large sized project(s) to deliver on intended outcomes, iteratively planning the execution of any new ideas and requirements approved to maximize ROIDevelop and maintain a detailed project schedule and work planDirect internal and / or client management activities for assigned projectsIdentify and address complex technical issues and resourcingSupport team members; acting as the liaison to the client for discussing changes in scope of work, timeline, or budgetProvide frequent / clear concise project updates to internal / external customersDirect meetings to problem solve skills to drive solutions to equipment / process issues, including FMEA and root cause analysis methodologyInterface with vendors, when necessary, to ensure vendors will deliver parts, materials, components and equipment on-time, on-budget and to technical specificationCollaborate with Business Partner(s) to define project team(s) and activitiesWorking with necessary cross functional resources enterprise wide, coordinate the deliverance of upstream and downstream dependencies, while proactively removing impediments to drive outcomesManage project deliverables, schedules, governance, vendors providing services ensuring they meet their execution milestones within cost estimatesPrepare and provide routine readout of project status reports to keep project sponsors informed of project health (including performance, potential risks / impediments to influence appropriate remediation decision)Monitor and control project schedule and financialsMonitor project expenses and report on cost variancesMaintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviewsReport on project progress, KPIs, and outcomes to senior managementRequirements :
Must be willing to work onsite in Portland, MEBachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field7+ years of industry experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredProven ability to solve problems creativelyStrong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practicesExperience seeing projects through the full life cycleStrong interpersonal skills and extremely resourcefulProven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelineStrong background in Project Management in the pharma industryExperience reporting Project / Program status to senior leadershipStrong stakeholder building and relationship skillsStrong vendor management skillsStrong communication skillsStrong Risk Management skillsStrong Team Management skillsData analytical and integration experience desiredExperience leading complex cross-functional initiativesStrong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholdersAnalytical and problem-solving skills to handle issues that occur during project executionOrganization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budgetStrong knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project, and other project management toolsNational (US) Range : $85,000 - $128,960 USD
