Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Baltimore, MD 21215 (Maryland nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 14 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880-$2020 Setting : Mixed ICU, primary focus on CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with at least 2 years as a staff CVICU nurse (critical care nursing experience required) Active Maryland or Compact State RN license (required at time of submission) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CALS, and 16-hour Maryland Approved Trauma Certification (by week 27) Experience with Cerner charting system preferred Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Professional references required Ability to float to all ICU areas and Emergency Department (ED) as needed CVICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in a mixed ICU environment Monitor and manage patients on advanced life support equipment (ECMO, ventilators, LVAD / RVAD, Impella, IABP) Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Assist with procedures : chest tube insertion / removal, arterial line management, central line care Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias Care for post-cardiac surgery and post-neurosurgery patients Float to other ICU areas and ED as required, adapting to various patient populations Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection prevention protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Baltimore, MD, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
