Planning Engineer

A company is looking for a Planning Engineer to support voice platform technologies and assist in engineering design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Guide Engineering and Operations with plans for new circuit implementations and modifications

Prepare high-level plans and specifications while ensuring economical project completion

Monitor the VoIP platform and initiate necessary changes and enhancements

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience

5 to 8 years of related experience in telecommunications, engineering, or network planning

Knowledge of VoIP and TDM switching technologies

Experience with VoIP routing, SIP Peering, and SS7 Trunks

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant systems
