Virginia Dental / Medical Malpractice / Personal Injury Paralegal

Shulman Rogers seeks a Paralegal with Virginia dental (preferred) and / or medical malpractice background to join its Medical Malpractice / Personal Injury Department. This position is located in our Alexandria, VA office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Drafts and reviews letters, court correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, expert designations and case filings.
• Schedules depositions, meetings, and court appearances
• Conducts legal and background research
• Tracks and maintains an organized log of case expenses and client medical costs, as well as the due dates of discovery responses and motion responses, statutes of limitations, expert designation, hearing dates and trial dates

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants must possess strong research, writing, and analytic skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
