Job Title : PainterJob Description

The Painter / Coater is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paints, coatings, or sealants to metal. This position ensures proper surface preparation, mixing of materials, and application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish and long-lasting protection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as required.
• Mix and apply paints and coatings.
• Inspect surfaces for proper preparation and finish quality.
• Read and interpret technical data sheets, work instructions, and work orders.
• Operate and maintain painting and coating equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Document work completed and report any issues or defects.
• Assist with inventory of paint supplies and request materials when needed.
• Work with other departments to meet production or project deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50 / hr.
