• Proficient in Cerner charting

Description :

The position requires working as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Shifts are scheduled for five days a week with hours from 08 : 00 to 16 : 30.

Weekend requirements include working every other Saturday for 8 hours and Sunday for 4 hours.

Flex time off is provided for working weekends, scheduled in advance with management.

Floating between inpatient rehabilitation and acute care is necessary.

No on-call obligations are expected.

Holiday pick-up is optional and compensated at time and a half.

First-time travelers are welcomed if they possess prior hospital experience.

Candidates with pending licensure are accepted; however, temporary licenses cannot be accepted.

Experience is required working with adult and geriatric patient populations.

The role involves utilizing adaptive equipment assessments and conducting functional capacity evaluations.

Responsibilities include reassessments, developing plans of care, and pre-discharge planning.

Key skills involve working with various physical rehabilitation cases, including spinal cord injuries, amputees, and neurological disorders.

The facility supports an interdisciplinary team approach, collaborating with various health services.

Travelers must adhere to compliance regarding time off and fulfill any module training requirements prior to starting.

Conduct concerns are taken seriously, with immediate consequences for unprofessional behavior or attendance issues.
