Our client, a prestigious Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their high-performing Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group in DC, Houston, New York, or San Francisco . This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with extensive experience in infrastructure-focused transactions—including public-private partnerships (P3 / PPP), project financings, and drop-down structures—to work on sophisticated matters involving high-profile energy and infrastructure projects.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .

Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction , in good standing.

6–9+ years of substantive experience in infrastructure project development and finance , with a strong background in PPP transactions .

Experience representing equity sponsors , financing parties , and / or private sector participants in infrastructure-related matters.

Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex transaction documents related to project financings and asset transfers .

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with multiple stakeholders.

Collaborative team player with a client-service mindset.

• Soft Skills : Excellent writing, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients —including sponsors, lenders, and other key stakeholders—in all stages of infrastructure transactions , from deal structuring to financial close.

Draft and negotiate project documents , concession agreements , equity arrangements , and financing documents .

Support public-private partnership transactions across various infrastructure sectors, including transportation, energy, and social infrastructure.

Provide strategic counsel on complex legal and regulatory issues related to domestic and international infrastructure investments .

Collaborate with cross-office and interdisciplinary teams to manage high-value transactions.

Engage directly with clients and contribute meaningfully to business development efforts.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation : Includes an annual salary range of $390,000–$435,000 , depending on experience and market factors, and eligibility for a discretionary bonus .
