Job Description : J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Residential Glazier - Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities :

Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed

Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites

Assist in the installation of shower doors, mirrors, and many other custom glass solutions our clients trust us to provide.

Follow instructions from the site Lead and Foreman

Assist Lead Glaziers as needed

Identify and report issues with work material on site

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements :

Comfort using hand and power tools

1-2 years of basic construction labor experience

Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude

Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A)

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans

Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements :

Typical hours for this position are from 7 : 00 A.M. to 5 : 00 P.M.(4-10's)

Overtime as required

Must follow Company Provided uniform requirements

Must be able to work in all weather conditions

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
