American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with recent Level I trauma experience and proficiency in Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner systems.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position based in a Level I trauma hospital environmentEvening shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PMCare provided for adult ICU, pediatrics, and adult acute care patientsFloating is mandatory and may include assignment as a Patient Observer (sitter) in any area of the facilityExperience with Siemens and McKesson MRI equipment and Cerner EMR is requiredMust work 50% of holidays and 50% of weekends during contractModules are completed during orientation and annually, recorded by the onsite managerActive participation in care for high-acuity adult and pediatric populationsTeam-oriented environment with floating support across various units as neededReturn travelers who return within 18 months do not require re-orientationModules average 4-6 hours and are required during both orientation and annuallyLocal candidates considered at a reduced rate if residing within 75 milesMust include all requested time off (RTO) at the time of application—no exceptionsHoliday and weekend coverage is shared and required per contract guidelines\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required, including at least 1 year in a Level I trauma settingBLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certification requiredExperience with Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner EMR preferredMust have current MO or Compact state license at time of consideration (license required if applicable)Open to first-time travelers if they have at least 2 years of Level I trauma MRI experienceTwo professional references from a charge nurse or above required for consideration\n Benefits\n
