Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with recent Level I trauma experience and proficiency in Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner systems.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position based in a Level I trauma hospital environment
  • Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM
  • Care provided for adult ICU, pediatrics, and adult acute care patients
  • Floating is mandatory and may include assignment as a Patient Observer (sitter) in any area of the facility
  • Experience with Siemens and McKesson MRI equipment and Cerner EMR is required
  • Must work 50% of holidays and 50% of weekends during contract
  • Modules are completed during orientation and annually, recorded by the onsite manager
  • Active participation in care for high-acuity adult and pediatric populations
  • Team-oriented environment with floating support across various units as needed
  • Return travelers who return within 18 months do not require re-orientation
  • Modules average 4-6 hours and are required during both orientation and annually
  • Local candidates considered at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles
  • Must include all requested time off (RTO) at the time of application—no exceptions
  • Holiday and weekend coverage is shared and required per contract guidelines

  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required, including at least 1 year in a Level I trauma setting
  • BLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
  • Experience with Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner EMR preferred
  • Must have current MO or Compact state license at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
  • Open to first-time travelers if they have at least 2 years of Level I trauma MRI experience
  • Two professional references from a charge nurse or above required for consideration
