Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech

Address : 1500 E Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49444

Contract : 13 weeks

Shift : 6 : 45 AM - 5 : 15 PM

Pay Rate : $52 / hr (W2) | $55 / hr (1099)

Position Summary :

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking skilled and dependable Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) for a long-term assignment in the Operating Room .

This position supports surgical teams in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment is sterile and available

Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures

Maintain a sterile field and anticipate the needs of the surgical team

Handle instruments and supplies during procedures

Support room turnover and post-operative clean-up

Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

Schedule & Requirements :

Shift : 6 : 45 AM – 5 : 15 PM

On-Call : 2–4 hours / month after a worked shift

Weekend Requirement : 1 weekend shift per contract

Certifications Required :

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Ideal Candidate :

Current CST certification and BLS (American Heart Association)

Prior experience in hospital-based surgical services

Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical procedures

Effective communication and team collaboration skills

Ability to function in a high-stress environment with critical attention to detail
