Materials Management Specialist
This position is responsible for transactional accuracy in SAP systems and continuous supporting of the Materials Management team.
Role and Responsibilities
Perform transactions within the SAP system
Learn all aspects of the Materials Management and Marshaling processes
Create, analyze, and distribute daily reports associated with MM and SAP transactions
Systematically investigate missed transactions to proactively identify areas of opportunity
Support the QA audit process by engaging in question and answer sessions about the MM process
Support all aspects of the Materials Management process
Participate in cross-functional problem solving activities as required to define issues and develop solutions
The position involves operating any and all powered equipment in the warehouse as needed to perform general material handling duties
All other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience : Experience with SAP required
Must be well organized with solid time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
A team player who's able to work with cross-functional teams that have varying needs
Flexible and ready to thrive in a constantly changing work environment
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Proficient Excel skills pivot tables, v-look up, etc.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
The ability to stand up for 8 - 10 hours a day required
Overtime opportunities possible
All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
The ability to pass a drug test and background check
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
Must be age 18 or older
