job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique needs of a chemical or petrochemical location. Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities, including potential hazards specific to the chemical or petrochemical environment. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and / or emergency personnel as needed. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Complete required reports and logs related to daily activities, incidents, and / or observations during patrols. Remain alert to site-specific risks and assist with the implementation of emergency procedures as directed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Patrol Driver in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout a chemical and petrochemical location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
