Overview

Position Title : Housekeeping Supervisor

Reports To : Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager

Supervises : Room Attendant, Houseman

Summary of Position : Daily supervision and assignments of room attendants and house person.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work done by room attendants and house persons meets standards.
• Manage scheduling and timely completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Inspect guestrooms (vacant, check-outs, and occupied) and coordinate with housekeeping office for updates on events.
• Monitor inventory and ensure closets have adequate supplies (Pro Host system).
• Verify guest room status at check-out times and report maintenance issues to the executive housekeeper or assistant.
• Coordinate with room service for dishes in hallways and report any pet-related program needs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; uphold property safety and appearance standards.
• Provide guests with directions or venue information and respond promptly to comments or complaints in a professional manner.
• Model and uphold IMGR&C values in performance, behavior, professionalism, attendance, communication, teamwork, and service.
• Communicate effectively with next shift to ensure success; share information needed for others to succeed.
• Assist other departments to achieve resort success and participate in shift, team, and department meetings with constructive ideas.
