This role offers a base pay range of $100,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr . Salary will be based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in interview.
Responsibilities
- Manages construction / project management of multiple complex projects at an international airport.
- Monitors execution of construction project's technical requirements.
- Ensures compliance with contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
- Resolves field issues and responds to Requests of Information.
- Acts as onsite liaison with contractor and oversees progress of construction.
- Coordinates, directs, and monitors activities of contractors / subcontractors, engineers, architects, and related entities.
- Manages project controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures as required by the client.
- Conducts project meetings and provides minutes, documentation, and tracking of relevant information.
- Ensures contractors, architects, and engineers adhere to contractual requirements on safety, performance, and project staff.
- Provides management of project logistics, organization, and safety.
- Ensures project closeout to obtain guarantees, warranties, and related provisions for turnover to the owner.
- Performs other duties as required to ensure project success.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years as a Construction Manager, plus an additional 3 years as a Senior Construction Manager supervising staff.Experience with public projects is required.Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.Strong oral and written communication skills.Knowledge of construction estimating, cost, project controls / scheduling, documentation, engineering / construction principles, and technologies.Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management systems.Ability to handle multiple contractors and fast-paced projects simultaneously.Registration as an Architect, Professional Engineer, and / or licensed General Contractor is preferred.Certified Construction Manager preferred.Benefits
