Role : Mainframe Application Support engineer
Location : South Wabash Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Job Description :
1. Technical Support and Issue Resolution :
Provide 24 / 5.5 on-call support, assisting users with issues and problems related to mainframe applications.
2. Problem Management and Analysis :
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, identify root causes, and manage change requests.
3. System Administration and Maintenance :
Assist with daily system administration tasks, including patching, updates, and upgrades to the z / OS operating system.
4. Collaboration and Communication :
Work with other IT engineers, developers, and vendors to resolve issues and manage projects.
5. Disaster Recovery :
Participate in disaster recovery and business resumption efforts.
Mandatory skills : Mainframe - DB2 , COBOL, JCL
