Job Summary :

The NC FAST Medicaid Reports Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Medicaid reporting solutions and semantic models. This role involves working with Oracle PL / SQL, Microsoft Azure Synapse, and Business Intelligence reporting tools to create new reports, maintain existing code, and address defects. The developer will collaborate with internal business and Medicaid teams to support reporting needs for case workers and financial aspects of the NC FAST program.

Location : North Carolina, United States

Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and manage data warehouses.
  • Develop and maintain reporting code for enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Build data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools.
  • Configure, design, develop, and test dashboards using Power BI.
  • Lead and mentor other reporting developers in data integration efforts.
  • Utilize ETL design patterns, error handling, and configurations.

Required Skills & Certifications :

  • 5+ years of experience programming and designing large-scale web-based distributed systems.
  • 5+ years of experience using Oracle and ETL tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL scripting and Relational Database modeling.
  • 5+ years of experience with structured system development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (tables, views, indexes, table spaces, users, grants).
  • Strong working knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting tool (BIRT) and the underlying data and tables in IBM Curam framework.
  • Strong working knowledge of building data analytics solutions using Azure Synapse serverless SQL pools.
  • Ability to develop relationships / partnerships with customers.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex / detailed technical procedures.

    • Preferred Skills & Certifications :

  • 2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
  • 2+ years of Data Warehouse experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with the C ram product.
  • 2+ years of strong SQL skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience utilizing Python, PySpark, and SparkSQL on Azure Cloud.

    • Special Considerations :

  • Absences greater than two weeks must be approved in advance, and contact information must be provided.
  • All work will be completed onsite at the manager's discretion.
