Description :

Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse needed for immediate start.

We provide care to individuals suffering from serious, life-limiting illnesses.

The focus is on easing patient symptom burden and providing skilled, compassionate care.

Support for families is also a key component of our role.

As a fairly new unit, we regularly assess the care we provide to meet community needs.

The patient / nurse ratio is 4 to 1, or less, with nursing assistants on some shifts.

We are a med / surg unit with some progressive care treatments, including palliative sedation, Bipap, and high-flow.

Nurses are responsible for vascular access and phlebotomy.

Teamwork is essential in the work we do.
