job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is in a 45-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 2 operating rooms Care for high-risk OB, antepartum, c-sections, and vaginal deliveries Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 1-2 Utilizes magnesium, insulin, and pitocin drips May float to Mother / Baby or Postpartum units as needed Uses Epic electronic medical record system Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's) Only 1 day off may be requested during specified holiday blackout periods First-time travelers will not be considered Candidates should expect to collaborate with a multidisciplinary OB team Active IA or compact RN license required Minimum 1.5 years of current hospital L&D experience necessary Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Prior travel contract experience required Ability to provide a recent work history and skills checklist Epic charting experience preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
