Technology Communications and Knowledge Manager
Location : Prefer local to NY / NJ / LA, CA but remote for the perfect candidate. Occasional travel to offices (limited)
Industry : Media is a nice to have but not required
Notes : Must have Knowledge Management AND Communications Management utilizing MS 360 (Atlassian tools like Slack, Zoom, etc) and LMS
ABOUT THE ROLE :
The Technology Communications and Knowledge Manager will be responsible for establishing the standards that drive awareness, education and adoption of technologies across the organization. In this role, this candidate will develop and implement communications and knowledge frameworks that can be adapted into projects across the enterprise, ensuring consistency and maximizing impact across all initiatives.
This candidate will liaise with various leads to create and disseminate clear, compelling content that helps employes understand, embrace and adopt technologies. This includes fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning through workshops to expand standardized methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Communications & Knowledge :
- Develop and implement communications and knowledge standards that align with the change strategies
- Advise partners such as product, project managers and business stakeholders, about best practices and communication and knowledge methodologies to embed technology adoption and knowledge activities into implementation plans that include success metrics to drive consistent adoption across technologies
Curriculum Strategy & Governance :
Develop, implement, and manage a governance framework for all technical and operational curriculum ensuring alignment with organizational goals, industry best practices, and compliance standardsPartner with subject matter experts, technical teams, operations leaders, and other stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps, define learning objectives, ensure curriculum meets evolving business needs, and coordinates knowledge material management in key systems (e.g., Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and SharePoint)Content Lifecycle Management :
Oversee the entire lifecycle of learning content, from needs assessment and creation to review, maintenance, and retirement of contentManage content ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility across all platformsLMS Optimization, AI Integration & Innovation :
Serve as the subject matter expert for our content key system respositories (e.g., Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and SharePoint) and associated Learning Management System (LMS) and other knowledge solutions, optimizing its functionality to support curriculum delivery, user engagement, and data analyticsChampion the integration of advanced AI systems into our knowledge management and learning solutions, as well as enhance content creation, delivery, and personalized learning experiencesREQUIREMENTS :
10+ years of experience in knowledge management, curriculum development, instructional design, or a related fieldBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Information Science, or a related technical disciplineDemonstrated experience in developing and managing technical and / or operational curriculum in a fast-paced environmentTechnical Proficiency :
Experience in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs including advanced experience in PowerPoint and SharePoint, as well as Slack, ServiceNow, and Atlassian toolsStrong proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration, content management, and reportingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
