Attending Physician

Job Description

Seeking a part-time Attending Physician in Buena Vista, VA, two days / week to support geriatric care in post-acute and long-term settings.

• Provide leadership and supervision of Nurse Practitioners
• Ensure accurate diagnosis, treatment, and management of illnesses
• Prescribe medications and assist with quality measures
• Complete patient histories, physicals, and re-certifications
• Maintain timely documentation via EMR
• Coordinate patient care effectively

Typical hours are 8-9 AM start and 3-4 PM end.
