Cath Lab Tech – WVU

Restrictions : Only 1 WVU submission at a time; no locals (within 50 miles); max 1 year in system (2-year break required after); no license hits; no prior WVU employees unless gone 2+ yrs.

Unit : 2 labs, ~10 cases / day

Certs : BLS, ARRT

Cases : Diagnostic L / R heart caths, PCI, IABP, temp pacemaker

Duties : Rad Techs scrub / assist physician, sterile technique; RNs circulate, sedate, document

Experience : 1+ yr Cath Lab / Rad Tech; first-time traveler okay with solid background

EMR / Equip : Siemens

On Call : 24 / 7 coverage; 1 week of call every 4 weeks (Mon 7 AM–Mon 7 AM); weekend / holiday call rotational; 30-min response

Shifts : 5 days / week, times vary by schedule

Other : No floating (extra shifts possible if skilled); scrubs provided; orientation up to 36 hrs
